It was a busy but God blessed month so far. I finished my time in the Church of the Nazarene Eastern District and am now in the Sunrise District. Next week I will head for the Highveld District for 2 weeks then to Sunrise District for 1 week and to Gautang to Rev Tim Mogorosi for a week. I will then fly back to Durban and work with Shumi Ushe on a CD project. Finally I will fly back to Mogorosi's before I fly home 28 July. Please continue to pray for God to give me fresh messages that will touch peoples hearts. Also for continued strength and safety. Pray you enjoy the pictures. Left Denver late at 0120 on April9 flying to JFK in New York City. I had a 4 hour layover that turned into 6. I missed my plane in Doha, although it might have been a blessing because they gave me a hotel room and food allowance. I was able to rest until the next morning when the next plane to Durban left. I arrived in Durban South Africa a little after 1800 in pouring rain. It had been raining the day before and really hard all day that day. Roads were flooded and some bridges washed out but we had one road into the area where I am staying. A friend said they haven't had rain and flooding like this since the mid 90's. We looked for a few stores that were open. Even parts of the Mall were closed. Stanley found a Nando's open and we had lunch there. Yesterday it was mostly clear with just a few showers and today it has been partly c...
Small ladies choir Preaching with an interpreter Cottondale choir The services are going very well. The Lord is blessing and many are responding to the messages. Since the lst report I have been to Acornhoek, Cottondale, Eglington (Hluvukani - the very first church I preached at in Africa in 1998) and Cottondale. The next 2 weeks I will be at Dumphries, Thulamahashe, Newington and Voninghani. At least that is the schedule for now. I then go to Barberton, Highveld, Pretoria area and Moroka area. I was very nervous when I realized I had left my Bible, sermon notes and concordance at home. I think it was the Lord's plan for me to start with a new Bible and ne sermons. Four weeks into the trip I was given a concordance. Many people have responded at the altar for various needs from salvation, a sanctifying deeper walk, leaving burdens, forgiving others, etc. Only God could do the work...
